Activity	A Mike Company patrol received 9 WIAs when it detonated a mine at YD 551307. Two of the casualties were serious and were medevaced by helicopter. The mine was of the box type consisting of at least 10 lbs with nuts and bolts for shrapnel. It was detonated by being stepped on and had a bursting radius of 30 meters.
