Description: 3 July 2012 - Talked to Ron Smarker on the phone, he told me that he was one of the 3/26 Originals.  He was with Mike 3/26, as a squad leader.  On 10 February 1967 he was hit several times.  He was evacuated and spent about eight months in the hospital.  He is doing well.
